Power Rangers Megaforce Released in the UK!

Power Rangers Megaforce toys finally hit the UK shelves in the Entertainer, Saturday.

Power Rangers Megaforce Display in The Entertainer
The new line is full of some cool toys, the Gosei Morpher being my favourite, but the £29.99 price tag is steep. The cards that come with it are the same as the US release. I really like the cards, although I already had one or two of the Japanense versions. The cards themselves are slightly larger than the Japanese ones are don't feel as nice, but they are still awesome.

Close up one
They only had a few figures on the shelf, red, black, yellow and blue. No sign of the villains. My biggest issue of this line is the price of the figures. £8.50 for a figure. I wouldn't complain if they were the same size of the ones we used to get from MMPR-PRRPM, they would be worth the price, but these. I just can't justify buying them, it was bad enough paying £7 a figure for the Samurai line. I really miss the days when Power Ranger figures used to be £4.99 and went to buy one get one free a month or so after their release. Woolworths was awesome for that.

Close up two
Behind the Samurai mask are the Megaforce ones. At the top right of close up two, are the Mini Battle figures. I thought I would take my chances to get a painted figure. What could go wrong? I had a one in sixth chance of getting a transparent one. I had no luck with the Samurai figures, I managed to get one painted Mooger and that's it. So, I grabbed one. Opened it. Transparent red. I have no luck with those things. All I want are the MMPR figures! Oh well, I got a cool card out of it!

Build and Morph Gosei Great Megazord
This £17 set is really cool. From what I have heard, it hasn't been released in the USA yet, it's nice to get something so awesome first. Last year we got the Lauren Samurai figure and a few years before that the Mystic Force Centaurus Megazord.

Close up three
The bottom shelf holds the Megazords and the Red Ranger Training Set. The Samurai Megazords haven't dropped in price. I want to pick up that Bull Zord, but it's only dropped to £26, still too expensive to buy randomly. The Gosei Megazord is £34.99, a lot more than the original £16 price on Amazon. very.co.uk still has it listed for £16 on their website, I would grab it quickly if you don't want to pay too much for it.

UK Cards
The last thing I grabbed were the Rise of Heroes action card game starter pack. I had to ask for it because they hadn't put it out on the shelf. Forty cards for £10 seems steep, but with the exchange rate, they are the same price as the ones being sold in America. I asked about the booster packs, but the store hadn't heard of them. They looked to see if they could order some in, but they weren't on the system. The good news is that we don't have the same cards as the rest of Europe, our releases are identical to the American ones. I'm really hoping that they release the booster packs here. I'm worried that they won't right now.
